Core Responsibilities

1. Team Leadership & Development

  • Strategic Deployment: Managing staff levels during high-traffic peaks to maintain service fluidity.
  • Mentorship: Coaching new joiners and providing continuous feedback to frontline staff.
  • Performance Management: Contributing to formal reviews and fostering a culture of discipline, professional grooming, and motivation.

2. Operational Excellence

​Maintaining the integrity of the Dubai hub requires precision. You will:

  • ​Identify and rectify service gaps to prevent operational lapses.
  • ​Ensure 100% compliance with Safety, Security, and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
  • ​Balance service quality with strict On-Time Performance (OTP) targets.

3. Baggage & Service Recovery

​When irregularities occur, the Supervisor is the primary architect of the solution:

  • Mishandled Baggage: Overseeing Property Irregularity Reports (PIRs) and managing the WorldTracer system with high accuracy.
  • Stakeholder Coordination: Liaising with dnata, Group Security, and outstation teams to track and resolve baggage claims.
  • Financial Authority: Approving interim relief payments and compensation in line with company policy to ensure customer retention.

  • Proven Experience: A solid background in airport operations, specifically within customer service or supervisory roles at a major airline.

  • Note: Internal candidates with an EKAS Leadership Foundation Certificate or those holding a valid Aerobridge License will have a distinct advantage.
