As the sole ground operations handler at the airport, Velora LLC manages everything from baggage handling and ramp services to guest boarding. Key Responsibilities & Accountabilities
As a Transportation Driver, you are an ambassador for Velora LLC. Your duties extend beyond the steering wheel; you are a guardian of safety and a provider of premium service.
1. Airside Transport Operations
- Operate high-capacity guest buses and luxury VIP vehicles within the restricted airside zones.
- Ensure the timely transit of flight crews to and from aircraft to maintain strict flight schedules.
- Navigate complex airport taxiways and service roads while strictly adhering to airside traffic regulations.
2. Safety, Security, and Compliance
- Maintain a "Safety First" mindset, ensuring the physical well-being of all passengers and colleagues during transit.
- Strictly follow Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) issued by Velora LLC and partner airlines.
- Monitor vehicle health and conduct pre-operational checks to ensure all transport equipment is in peak condition.
- Identify, mitigate, and report potential hazards through Ground Safety Reports (GSRs) in accordance with corporate safety guidelines.
3. Service Excellence
- Deliver a professional and welcoming experience to a multicultural demographic of international travelers.
- Maintain a disciplined and professional appearance at all times, representing the high standards of Abu Dhabi’s aviation sector.
Professional Requirements
To maintain our status as a premier aviation hub, we set high benchmarks for our team members. We are looking for candidates who possess:
- Licensing: A valid UAE Heavy-Duty Driving License is mandatory.
- Experience: A minimum of 5 years of experience in a professional driving role (experience in logistics, transport, or aviation is highly preferred).
- Communication: Proficiency in English is required to communicate effectively with operations control and international passengers.
- Adaptability: The ability to work within a multicultural workforce and adapt to a 24/7 shifting schedule.
- Technical Knowledge: A strong understanding of safety protocols, defensive driving techniques, and professional conduct.
