​📦 About the tMart Operation

​The Assistant Store Supervisor will be integral to the smooth, day-to-day running of a tMart facility. tMart is a pioneering concept, a 'dark store' focused exclusively on fulfilling online grocery orders, guaranteeing delivery within a remarkable 30-minute timeframe at highly competitive prices. The successful candidate will be pivotal in overseeing all store activities during their assigned shift, holding responsibility for maintaining peak operational efficiency, meticulous inventory accuracy, and the highest service standards that talabat customers expect.


​Reporting directly to the Store Supervisor, the Assistant Store Supervisor is a key leadership figure who helps drive team productivity, minimize operational losses, and ensure a consistently safe, secure, and hygienic working and storage environment.


​🔑 Core Responsibilities: Driving Operational Excellence

​The scope of this role requires a highly proactive, hands-on leader capable of managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced setting:


  • Shift Management & Fulfillment: Directly manage end-to-end store operations during assigned shifts, encompassing staff deployment, efficient inbound receiving of stock, correct stocking procedures, and rapid, accurate customer order fulfillment.
  • Team Leadership & Scheduling: Provide direct support to the Store Supervisor in creating staff schedules, managing shift rotations, conducting performance checks, and ensuring the entire team is operationally ready at all times.
  • Inventory Control & Replenishment: Take ownership of crucial inventory management processes, including executing regular stock takes and cycle counts to guarantee system and physical stock accuracy. The role also involves supporting the Store Supervisor in store ordering and replenishment to maintain optimal stock levels and prevent costly overstock or damaging stock shortages.
  • SOP Adherence: Ensure all inbound goods receiving is processed accurately and promptly in strict accordance with company Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
  • Delivery Metric Oversight: Monitor and optimize the picking and packing workflow to ensure maximum efficiency, directly contributing to meeting the challenging 30-minute delivery timelines promised to customers.
  • Compliance & Safety: Maintain exceptionally high standards of hygiene, safety, security, and service levels throughout all store activities, protecting both assets and personnel.
  • Process Improvement: Proactively identify and diagnose operational inefficiencies, collaborate with the Store Supervisor on corrective actions, and formally recommend process improvements to enhance store performance.
