The Role: Leading the Retail Experience

Key Areas of Responsibility
The scope of the Store Supervisor’s responsibilities is broad, covering management, logistics, planning, and team leadership:
1. Retail Operations & Performance Management:
The Supervisor will manage the day-to-day operations across all UAE stores, ensuring strict adherence to the Visual Style Guide (VSG) and overall CCMB (Commercial Management) branding standards. A primary focus is meeting and exceeding the financial targets set for all outlets. This includes conducting regular store walks and mandatory monthly store visits to monitor performance, address operational issues, and ensure a high level of store presentation.
2. Inventory, Logistics, and Stock Control:
A core function is the oversight of all inventory management procedures. The Supervisor must ensure that Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) are consistently followed at every location. This involves coordinating product deliveries with EK Stores and other relevant business partners and meticulously organizing both the annual stock-takes and any unscheduled stock checks required to maintain inventory accuracy.
3. Planning, Reporting, and Brand Engagement:
The role requires a proactive approach to marketing and planning, including creating and maintaining a rolling marketing calendar in collaboration with the team. The Supervisor is also responsible for preparing detailed weekly or monthly performance reports for the Manager Merchandise, providing essential insights into sales, inventory, and operational efficiency.
4. Team Leadership and Customer Service:
The Store Supervisor is a key leader responsible for mentoring, guiding, and fostering the professional growth of the store sales experts. This includes preparing monthly duty rosters based on operational demands and, most importantly, instilling a culture that drives exceptionally high standards of customer service and impeccable store presentation across the board.
Beyond the Official Store
The role extends beyond the core store operations to include crucial responsibilities across other brand touchpoints:
- Visual Merchandising: Proactively managing and executing visual merchandising updates across all store locations to keep the retail environment fresh and engaging.
- Aviation Events: Overseeing the setup and successful operation of temporary "remote stores" at major aviation and travel exhibitions, such as the Dubai Airshow and the Arabian Travel Market.
- Dubai Duty Free (DDF) Liaison: Acting as a point of contact to present new product ideas to the DDF purchasing teams, managing the fulfillment and delivery of DDF orders, and ensuring accurate invoicing.
- The Dubai Mall – Flight Simulator Zone: Monitoring daily customer bookings via the Digitickets system, managing customer email correspondence, assisting with scheduling, supporting data analytics through Google Analytics, and ensuring accurate invoicing with Emaar Entertainment.
Qualifications and Benefits
